Creating & Editing WidgetStudio Variables

While working in an external editor such as Visual Studio Code, you often need to create variables that can be read by WidgetStudio and thus made available to a user for customization.

The variables you create should follow the pattern for your widget. The default is two underscores (__) before and after the variable. __BorderColor__

You can create these in your external editor, but you need to provide more information for each variable.

In "External Editor Mode", you have access to adjusting the variable information on the same screen.

Here you can update the variable's information, giving more help to the user of the widget.
